Shaking up Sustainability
As well as focusing on making great tasting drinks we're also committed to ensuring we're taking steps so our business is as sustainable as possible. Read below to find out the things we already do to improve on this, and also what our future plans are!
Our bottles and cartons:
We use PET bottles which are fully recyclable
Our cartons are made from FSC Certified cardboard (The Forest Stewardship Council – which promotes responsible management of the worlds forests). They can be widely recycled.
We also use ethically sourced milk
Our Offices:
All the electricity we use in our offices is run off solar panels
Events and Festivals:
All our cups are made with recycled paper and are fully compostable.
We only use paper straws at every single event we attend.
We don’t supply any plastic lids (sorry, but it saves on a lot of waste!)
We carefully coordinate our staff to ensure they car share when travelling to and from events
Deliveries:
We no longer use polyboxes and have replaced them with cardboard boxes with linings made from recycled paper or wool. Note: Wool is a great insulator and a natural, sustainable source as it’s a by-product of rearing sheep. The wool insulation is totally compostable and biodegradable, releasing valuable nitrates back into the soil.
